Grab your strawberries and cream because it’s Wimbledon finals time!
One of our favourite aspects of British summertime has to be the abundance of bright, plump, and deliciously sweet strawberries. For us, very few other treats epitomise the season quite as much as strawberries do. Then, of course, when we think of summer strawberries, Wimbledon comes to mind – the quintessentially English summer sporting event, enjoyed best with a bowl of strawberries and cream on one hand and a glass of Pimms (with freshly chopped strawberries) in the other.
As we started musing about how perfect the pairing of strawberries and cream is, we began considering all the different ways this summer treat can be enjoyed. Despite the fact that a traditional bowl of fresh whipped cream and strawberries is absolutely delicious, that’s no reason to limit your choices. Experiment with all the variations of the seasonal berry and try out some of our favourite combinations below:
