The Salad Project wants to redefine what real healthy food is without sacrificing flavour by using sustainable and locally sourced ingredients.  James Dare, Co-Founder, tells us how The Salad Project came to be and why access to quality food is so important to them.

Meet The Salad Project

Q: What’s the inspiration behind your business?

A: To be able to provide access to better food, we want to not only elevate peoples mundane lunch options but to make it easy to make good and healthy choices. It shouldn’t have to be a battle between health and taste. Hopefully, at the salad project, we are able to achieve that.

Q: Where are you from and how has that shaped your business?

A: Both of us (Florian & James) have grown up in the UK (Flo will be quick to note he is French and Italian). We met at a hospitality school in Switzerland and have been firm friends ever since. I would say that we offer a pretty international take on hospitality, with a continental European focus on food.
